New Transport Modes |
![]() |
We rely on our combined GIS models (MapInfo, TransCad) and transport demand 4-step models (TransCAD, Cube Voyager, Tp+, Visum, QRSII,...), to portray the mobility profiles of an area, based on home surveys, road counts, on-off surveys and any other available data (i.e. Census Data) Demand Estimates for Light Rail, Express Bus Services, Park&Ride Schemes, Suburban Rail, TaxiBus... | ||
Demand Estimates are routinely established for several scenarios sensitive to other policy measures such as parking cost and availability, commercial speeds, tolls, etc. Functional aspects are an integral part of the work such as bracketing of commercial speeds, traffic light preference, etc. The attached graphical example pertains to a light rail line crossing a signalized roundabout in the city of Bilbao. |
